Stuart's journey began with his pivotal role at PayPoint Plc, a leading UK payments fintech company. There, he honed his skills and gained valuable insights into the intricacies of the payments world, ultimately earning a promotion to Country Manager, Ireland. This experience laid the foundation for his future success in the industry.

In 2012, Stuart's exceptional abilities caught the attention of Denis O'Brien's HRTech business, Saongroup, in the Caribbean. As the Managing Director, Stuart played a crucial role in preparing the company for its sale to Stepstone, which is now mooted for upcoming IPO expected to be valued at approximately €7 billion. During his tenure, Stuart spearheaded the growth of Saongroup, achieving nearly 40% revenue growth and an impressive 65% increase in EBITDA. By implementing innovative strategies such as sales team restructuring, process optimisation, pricing adjustments, enhanced marketing initiatives, and the establishment of a dedicated Customer Success team, Stuart maximised the company's potential and elevated its annual recurring revenue (ARR) renewal rates to the highest in the group.

Stuart's reputation for driving transformative change led to an invitation from Digicel, an international telecom business operating in 33 countries across LATAM, Caribbean, and Pacific. He was approached to fill the role of COO of their Financial Services division but was quickly asked to take the responsibility of leading Jamaican payments business Paymaster Jamaica Ltd as its CEO. Tasked with stabilising the business and altering its trajectory, Stuart orchestrated a remarkable turnaround. Under his guidance, Paymaster underwent a comprehensive rebranding, adopting a digitally relevant identity. A new app and website were launched, facilitating Stuart's visionary digital cross-border payment strategy, which within 2 years accounted for an impressive 11% of the company's revenue and 28% of its EBITDA. Recognising the importance of technology, Stuart oversaw a complete IT overhaul, replacing outdated platforms with a state-of-the-art payment switch that positioned the business for growth, increased efficiency, and improved customer-centricity. As part of the broader financial services group, Stuart also contributed his expertise to numerous fintech projects involving international remittance, loyalty programs, mobile money/digital wallets, and payment acceptance businesses.

In addition to his corporate achievements, Stuart has played an instrumental role in the foundation of several start-ups in the online and consumer products space. He also serves as a director of SCG Growth Partners, a high-potential fintech SaaS start-up with offices in Ireland, Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad. SCG Growth Partners comprises multiple business units that empower financial service providers to swiftly and cost-effectively acquire customers online. Through a combination of lead generation outsourcing, proprietary technology automation for KYC/AML document collection, and an integrated CRM solution, SCG enables streamlined customer acquisition processes.
